What is Fear?
Fear is a kind of thought.
Thought by itself is neither positive nor negative. But when used unconsciously, it can create fear, anxiety, and stress. Thought is neutral — you can use it to create peace or panic. So, the key is not to fight thoughts or label them. You are now in charge.
What next?
If you can create suffering with your thoughts, you can also create joy. The key isn’t to stop thinking — but to take charge of how you think.
If you can create suffering with your thoughts, you can also create joy. The key isn’t to stop thinking — but to take charge of how you think.
1. Become Aware, Not Reactive
“The moment you become conscious of your thought, you are no longer enslaved by it.”
- Notice your thoughts without judgment.
- See them clearly: “Oh, this is what I’m thinking.”
2. Don’t Try to Stop Thoughts – Change Their Direction
“You don’t have to fight the darkness. Just turn on the light.”
- You can’t force thoughts to stop, but you can choose better ones.
- Shift from “What if I fail?” to “How can I grow from this?”
3. Use Your Imagination Consciously
“Fear is a misuse of imagination. Use it to create what you love.”
- Visualize what uplifts you — your goals, strength, peace.
- Practice daily positive imagination.
4. Create Inner Stillness (Meditation Helps)
“Only in stillness, life is truly experienced.”
- Stillness reveals what thoughts matter and which don’t.
5. Be Around Positive Input
- Feed your mind uplifting books, music, conversations.
🧠 Mantra: “I am not the thought. I am the one who watches the thought.”
What About Past Painful Memories?
“You are suffering the memory, not the life.”
- The pain happened once — the memory repeats it.
Memory is a tool: It should help you learn, not suffer.
🕯️ What can we do?
1. Don’t Erase the Memory — Change Your Relationship With It
“Memory is like a wound that’s trying to heal. But you keep scratching it.”
- Accept that it happened.
- But stop emotionally replaying it.
- Become a witness, not a victim — and healing begins.
2. Memory Has No Power Without Your Attention
“It’s not the past that hurts. It’s your attachment to it.”
- Say to yourself: “This is just a recording. I can choose not to play it.”
- Refocus on what matters *now*.
3. Use Memory to Become Stronger
“If you learn from your past, it becomes wisdom. If you suffer it, it becomes poison.”
- Ask: What did this teach me?
- Let it sharpen your awareness, not steal your peace.
🌼 Gentle Practice for Painful Memories
- Sit quietly. Take 3 deep breaths.
- Say to yourself: “Yes, it happened. But I’m not there anymore. I am here now.”
- Place your hand on your heart and focus on the present moment.
🌀 Mind Only Multiplies
The mind doesn’t add or subtract — it multiplies.
Plant a worry, and it becomes many. Plant one positive thought, and it blooms into joy.
Be conscious of what you feed your mind. It will multiply whatever you give it!!
